Y1 Industrial Humandroid

At Humandroid, we train humanoid robots at global scale for industry. Every new model we add to our fleet isn't a lab promise it's a machine that goes into production, learns concrete tasks through Robots ID, and is ready to work side by side with our clients' teams. The UBTECH Y1 is the latest to join that fleet, and it's heading straight for the factory floor.



A humanoid built for work, not for a demo


The Y1 (Cruzr Y1) is a wheeled humanoid with dual 7-DOF arms and a 10 kg payload. It's designed to move from pilot to large-scale industrial rollout without friction: handling, depalletizing, palletizing, loading/unloading, and sorting are its natural tasks from day one.


Autonomy is one of its strongest points. With 4+ hours of continuous operation at full load, auto-charging, and quick-swap battery, the Y1 can cover 24/7 shifts without downtime. That means a production line never has to stop for the robot to rest: there's always another battery ready, or the robot itself heads to its charging station while another unit keeps working.



On the manipulation side, its arms use harmonic drive modules for precise, smooth movement, backed by brakes and torque sensors for dual safety protection. The Y1 also adds a waist load support plate, a feature unique to this model that offloads weight from the arms, reduces joint wear, and improves durability over long shifts. Its end effectors are swappable, with a standard ISO 9409-1 mounting flange and plug-and-play support, so they can be adapted to the task at hand without redesigning the robot. And thanks to its omnidirectional wheel base, it moves freely in any direction, navigates complex paths with ease, and makes better use of available floor space.



The use cases, one by one


Handling. The Y1 handles both plastic bins and cardboard boxes, is compatible with multi-sized containers of the same type, and works with minimum cycle times of 15 seconds. It's the baseline task for any picking or line-feeding operation.


Loading & unloading. 

Built for precise machine feeding CNC lathes, machining cells, assembly stations the Y1 can pick and place parts ranging from 50 to 1000 mm with a minimum cycle time of just 10 seconds.


Depalletizing & palletizing. 

With the same multi-sized container flexibility, the Y1 builds and breaks down pallets of plastic bins with a minimum cycle time of 30 seconds, freeing human teams from one of the warehouse's most repetitive and ergonomically risky tasks.


Sorting. 

This is where the Y1 shows its versatility: sorting hard packages, soft packages, and documents, with precise picking and placing even when items arrive mixed and disordered on the belt. Minimum cycle time: just 5 seconds.



Together, these four use cases cover the full journey through a distribution center or manufacturing plant from the moment goods arrive at the loading dock to the moment they leave sorted and palletized toward their next destination.


What makes the Y1 actually learn: Robots ID


A humanoid without trained intelligence is just hardware. What turns the Y1 into a productive tool is Robots ID, our operating system for training, deploying, and managing humanoids from any manufacturer. Robots ID orchestrates the entire learning cycle: data capture through teleoperation, model training in simulation (Isaac Sim, open GR00T models), deployment of the trained skill, and fleet operation on the plant floor.



For clients who need their data to never leave their infrastructure, we offer on-premise Training Centers powered by NVIDIA IGX Thor: dual Blackwell GPUs, 224 GB of memory, and the capacity to run VLA, VLM, and reasoning models in parallel, all within the client's own perimeter. That way, data capture, training, inference, and deployment all run on-site, and the client retains full intellectual property over every skill their Y1 learns.



From pilot to Robot-as-a-Service


The Y1 joins a clear roadmap: proofs of concept in 2026, pilots in 2027, and a Robot-as-a-Service model in 2028 that will let any enterprise scale its robotic workforce by adding or reassigning humanoids on demand, without the friction of buying and integrating hardware on their own. We're already accompanying companies like YPF TEC, Arca Continental, TGN, Aluar, and Aeropuertos Argentina on that journey, and the Y1 officially represented by Humandroid in Argentina 🇦🇷, Mexico 🇲🇽, Europe 🇪🇺 , and the US is one more piece of a fleet that keeps growing with every client.
