The Agibot A3 is a full-size bipedal humanoid robot built by AgiBot (also known as Zhiyuan Robotics), one of China's fastest-scaling humanoid robot makers. It's designed as a general-purpose humanoid not a single-task machine meaning the same hardware and software stack can walk, talk, gesture, navigate indoors, and hand off light objects, whatever the environment.
At Humandroid, we conect and deploy the A3 through our own software layer, Robots ID, to turn that general-purpose hardware into something that actually works on a real floor.
What is the Agibot A3
The A3 is AgiBot's flagship general-purpose humanoid: a two-legged, human-scale robot built to operate in spaces designed for people rather than machines. Unlike wheeled or industrial-arm robots, the A3 walks, balances dynamically, and uses expressive hands, voice and a face-like display to interact directly with people around it. AgiBot demonstrated the A3's balance and agility publicly by having it perform real, unedited martial-arts sequences flying kicks, mid-air strikes and controlled landings to show off its joint control and stability under real physical stress, not scripted animation.
What is the Agibot A3 used for?
Because it's a general-purpose humanoid rather than a task-specific machine, the A3's real value is in the combination of capabilities rather than any single one: it can stand and walk for hours on one shift, hear a question clearly in a noisy room, find its way across a large indoor space, respond in natural conversation with no wake word, and use its hands for light gestures or handing off an object.
That combination is what "general-purpose" means in practice the same robot can greet someone, answer a spoken question, walk them somewhere, and hand them something, all with the same body and the same software, without being reprogrammed into a different machine for each task. What it's actually asked to do on any given day depends entirely on how it's trained and deployed.
Who makes the Agibot A3?
The A3 is built by AgiBot, a Chinese humanoid robotics company that has scaled unusually fast, reporting thousands of units shipped and a growing international push, including product showcases at major robotics events through 2026. AgiBot builds its own hardware actuators, hands and sensor suite as well as its own onboard software stack for movement, perception and voice interaction.
How Humandroid trains the Agibot A3: Robots ID
Buying the hardware gets you a robot that can stand in a room. Robots ID is what makes it useful in that specific room, instead of behaving like it just came out of a demo booth.
