The Road to Physical Autonomy: 2024–2030

Automation is not a distant future it is a transition already underway. By 2030, an estimated 92 million jobs will be displaced by automation. But the same wave will create 170 million new ones: a net gain of 78 million jobs, driven by technology that amplifies human capability rather than replacing it.

Humanoid robots sit at the center of this shift. Like autonomous driving, physical autonomy evolves through defined levels from Level 0, where a human teleoperates every action, to Level 5, where robots handle tasks completely, in all situations, without human intervention.

Today, the industry operates between Levels 1 and 2: humanoids executing firmly defined, simple tasks under human supervision.

By 2029, Level 3 unlocks autonomy in specific situations. And by 2030, Level 4 our automation target enables humanoids to take over complete tasks in defined industrial contexts: high-volume, low-complexity applications across automotive, logistics, energy, and Oil & Gas.

This is where the economic transformation happens. Not in replacing people, but in absorbing the dangerous, repetitive, and unfilled work that industry can no longer staff while creating new roles in robot training, fleet operation, and deployment.

2026 is the year Humandroid scales from teleoperation to full autonomy.

Our roadmap takes Robots ID our operating system for training and deploying industrial humanoid robots — through three major releases, while growing our training capacity 10x.

Q1 - Foundation & Global Launch. We kick off the year training 3 humanoid robot POCs and taking our platform to the world stage: go-to-market in Europe at MWC Barcelona and presence at NVIDIA GTC 2026. Robots ID V2.0 launches with full teleoperation capabilities.

Q2 - Intelligence Layer. Training scales to 4 new POCs as we integrate NVIDIA Cosmos 3 into our pipeline. Robots ID V2.5 introduces QA for VLA models, and we showcase our platform at the AWS Event in Buenos Aires.

Q3 - Scaling Up. A step change: 10 humanoid robots trained, 2 VLA/WMA models deployed in production, a new Training Center at our HQ, and the launch of the Robots ID Skill Marketplace with 20 industrial skills.

Q4 - Full Autonomy. We close the year training 30 humanoid robots, opening our Training Center Europe, and running on the NVIDIA AI Enterprise stack. Robots ID V3 arrives: fully autonomous operation.

From remote operation to autonomous humanoids in twelve months that's the path to Level 5 physical autonomy.
